[4] Ranjangaon in Maharashtra enshrines Mahaganapati depicting the legend of Shiva invoking Ganesha during his battle with the demons. [5] Ozar in Maharashtra depicts Ganapati as Vigneshwar who quelled the arrogance of the demon Vignaasuran. [6] Girijaatmaja Vinayak at Lenyadri hills in Maharashtra is a representation of Ganesha in the form of an infant. [7] Mahad in Maharashtra enshrines Varadvinayak associated with the legend of Rukmangada, Indra and the Bhadravana forest. The saga of Shri Sathya SAI Baba of Shirdi started in the middle of the 19th Century when, as a boy of about 16 years of age, he first appeared here under a neem tree absorbed in a hard penance. Fro the next about 60 years, he devoted his life for the upliftment of the poor and suffering. His origin, religion and early life are shrouded in mystery and though he is believed to be an incarnation of lord Shiva, his teachings transcended all religions and beliefs. On Tuesday, the 15th of October, 1918, Shri SAI Baba entered his Samadhi. Today, all places, persons and possessions connected with him, too have become objects of veneration by millions of devotees who journey to Shirdi every year from all parts of the world.

 Pandharpur +
Akalkot + Tuljapur
( 2 Days )

 # Pandharpur Vithoba with Akalkot Swamy & Tulja Bhavani Yatra

Pandharpur : Prettily placed on the majestic banks of River Chandra bagha, Pundalik Temple portrays lord Vitthal as its chief deity.  Vitthal is one among the manifestations of Lord Vishnu. The main shrine is a five-story building with a pyramidal gun spire.
The statue of Jaya and Vijaya flanks Lord Vithal.

The main attraction in this square shaped temple is its portico, which has a measurement of 25??by 17?? This portico holds
the idol of lord Shiva, which is protected by a brass cover. It is a customary practice that the devotees should wash their
feet in the warm water spring that flows adjacent to the temple before they embark their dharshan of the lord. One among
the embarrassing allure in the temple premises is the iron boat of 3 ft by 2 ft, which floats in the river water but appears
too heavy to raise with hands.

Tuljapur :  Worship of the primeval energy Shakti in the form of the mother Goddess is seen in the four Shakti Peethas of Maharashtra - Tuljapur enshrining Bhavani, Kolhapur enshrining Mahalakshmi, Mahur enshrining Mahamaya Renukaand Saptshringi enshrining Jagadamba. Other Shakti temples in the state are those at Ambe Jogai and Aundh.
